Do I need a guarantor to rent?
No. OHAYO Stay apartments require no guarantor and no Japanese emergency contact. Book directly online with your passport or ID.
Is there key money or a deposit?
There is no key money (reikin). Pricing is a simple monthly rate; any deposit terms are shown clearly on each listing before you book.
Are foreigners welcome?
Yes — every OHAYO Stay listing welcomes foreign residents and visitors. No Japanese bank account or residence card is required to book.
Are the apartments furnished?
Yes. All apartments come fully furnished with bed, appliances, kitchenware, and free Wi-Fi. You can move in with just a suitcase.
Are utilities included in the rent?
Yes. Electricity, gas, water, and Wi-Fi are all included in the monthly price — one payment covers everything.
What is the minimum stay?
Most apartments are available from 1 month. Longer stays often qualify for monthly discounts shown on the listing.
How do I check in?
Check-in is self-service with smart locks or key boxes at most properties. Detailed instructions are sent after booking — many apartments allow same-day move-in.
How do I pay?
You pay online by credit card through our secure checkout when you book. No cash, bank transfer, or Japanese payment methods are required.
